Guided by the policy from Pudong New Area, and after the comprehensive preparation, Egret submitted the application to Science and Technology Committee of Pudong New Area on Jun. 3, 2008, for obtaining the qualification of Pudong New Area Enterprise R&D Institution.

Science and Technology Committee of Pudong New Area organized the third party institution to conduct the on-site inspection on July 8, 2008. The specialists gave Egret a comprehensiveassessmentabout Egret’s R&D facilities, R&D team, intellectual property rights, financial position, business management and prospect.

On Sep. 11, 2008, Science and Technology Committee of Pudong New Area announced Egret had obtained the qualification of Pudong New Area Enterprise R&D Institution, which means Egret has strong competitive strength in new drug research and development.
